CreaTures cards: evaluating transformative arts and design

The cards attached here were made as a printable and more succinct form of the materials on the CreaTures Framework website: https://creaturesframework.org/. They include cards listing the Nine Dimensions for evaluating transformative art and design practice, cards about the politics of evaluation and cards that itemise the ways that creative practice brings people together. The material on the website on which these cards are based is the work of the three-year participatory CreaTures project, led by a trandisciplinary consortium of artists, designers, researchers and NGOs (and people so interdisciplinary that we could not define them) and funded by the EU under their “Art for Societal Challenges” Transformations call. The material is proving useful to artists to explain themselves to funders and to funders and policymakers trying to work more closely with the cultural sector to inspire a new sense of meaning in the face of uncertain futures.

Do look at the cards, below, or download them. And the CreaTures Framework can be found online at: https://creaturesframework.org/.

If you do use them, please consider leaving us feedback here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfaHZox6-_8svV9BkWQlJz9sRar24XZI4AkeljMrvJl0T8LIA/viewform?usp=sharing. We are tracking the use of the Framework (and the cards) so that we can make them as useful as possible to the most people.
